How the "Dark Web Report" and "Manager Compliance Report" Features work in the Power Platform in CyberHoot

1. How does it work?
Dark Web Reports: Whenever a new exposure to a user is found in the dark web, this report will be sent out to both Super Admins and Customer Admins. This report will only report on newly found exposures that have not been acknowledged. This feature runs a weekly check on any exposures and emails will only get sent to the admins if a new exposure has been found.

Manager Compliance Reports: Every Monday, managers will receive a weekly manager compliance report, which is an excel sheet that contains the compliance status of all their reporting managers and users.

Dark Web Reports: Super Admins and Customer Admins

Manager Compliance Reports: Managers

3. Do we or can we add specific recipients for this report?
Dark Web Reports: These reports only go to Super Admins and Customer Admins.

Manager Compliance Reports: All managers with reporting managers or users will receive this report.

4. Can we generate a report manually?
Dark Web Reports: You can generate a similar report by navigating to "Reports" > click on "Scheduled Customer Compliance Reports" and have everything unchecked except for "Exposed Users Report". This report will give you a list of all exposed users. You can choose to set this up on a weekly or monthly basis and send to any of the below Partner Recipients or Customer Recipients.

The section in the Dark Web Report comes from Dehashed while the exposed user information is gathered from HaveIBeenPwned.

  • DeHashed: A more comprehensive search engine that allows users to check if their personal data (including usernames, emails, IP addresses, and even hashed passwords) has been compromised in data breaches.
  • Have I Been Pwned (HIBP): Primarily focused on email addresses, it allows users to check if their email or password has been part of a breach, offering a simpler interface for general use.




To be able to download this directly instead of setting up a schedule, you can go to "Reports" > and click "Exportable Customer Compliance Summary" and have everything unchecked except for "Exposed Users Report" then click "Download Report". 

Manager Compliance Reports: Yes, you can generate this report manually by navigating to "Reports" > click on "Compliance Reports" > click on the "Manager/User Reports" tab and from there you can click "Download Manager Report" to get this report.



5. Does the report generate even if there is no issues found?
Dark Web Reports: When generating this report manually, it will create a report. The Dark Web Report feature will only send out when new exposures are found.

Manager Compliance Reports: The report will generate as it only shows user compliance with training.
