What are the compliance scores within CyberHoot?

CyberHoot features a variety of scores to track and assess your progress, here's a detailed breakdown of the different scores you'll encounter:

  1. Overall Compliance Score (Dashboard): This score is exclusive to administrators and is not visible to other users. It represents the company’s overall compliance level by comparing the total number of active assignments against the number of assignments that have been completed. The goal here is to achieve a 100% compliance score, indicating full completion across the board.

  1. User Compliance Score: Visible to managers through their weekly compliance reports, this score measures individual compliance by calculating the ratio of completed assignments to the total assignments assigned to a user. It provides a direct insight into each user’s engagement with their required tasks.

  1. Hoot Score: This score is a measure of a user's performance across their assignments, factoring in both the scores they achieve and the number of attempts they take to complete each assignment. A perfect first attempt scores 100, while deductions are made for any additional attempts or less than perfect scores. Each of these metrics is designed to provide clear and actionable insights to help guide and improve both individual and organizational compliance with security protocols.

  1. Customer Hoot Rank: Provides an overall ranking for a company based on its collective cybersecurity training progress. Starting with "Hatchling Haven" and peaks at "Owl Oracle" for the highest level of cybersecurity mastery. These ranks reflect the combined cybersecurity knowledge of all users within the organization, emphasizing that as individual employees enhance their understanding and skills, they collectively elevate the company’s overall security posture.

  1. User Hoot Rank: Offers a gamified progression model that motivates learners by categorizing their achievements into ranks. Beginners start as "Fluffy Hatchling" and can ascend through levels like "Owlet Novice," "Feathered Explorer," "Perch Protector," and "Talon Guardian" by completing cybersecurity assignments. The highest rank, "Wise Owl Sage," recognizes users who complete more than 41 assignments, showcasing their deep understanding of cybersecurity.
